I posted earlier about crashing a wedding to “Ice” my friend Tyler. He has been getting me for 10 years, so this was a perfect time for paybacks. Thanks to his best friend Paul who had this great idea for me to be part of his speech. Everyone was surprised and it was hilarious. #smirnoffice #weddingcrashers | Brian Gotter

So close, but nothing but warm air and a lot of wind last night. Some would say that sounds about right coming from me. Hahaha This was at 1am…thats how close it got, but again just a few sprinkles. I knew the worst weather would be in weatern and northern Wi, and it would weaken by the time it got here, but I was sure we would get heavy rain and a lightning show. Nope. The atmospheric cap prevented the storms from entering our territory. Some models said the storms would stay north and they wer

Ladies and gentlemen! It’s back my popular demand…THE GOTTER GUAGE!! For those of you that didn’t see this when I did weather on TV, I give tomorrow’s weather a score from 1 to 10…1 being a nasty day to the Perfect 10. I have been waiting to debut the gauge when the weather was great, and tomorrow is finally that day. Tuesday is a Perfect 10!! Sunny and mild with highs near 70 and a north wind at 10-20 mph. If that wind shifts to the NE, the lakefront will drop into the 50s. #heygotter #gotterga

Yes, more rain is moving in for the evening, but the good news is that the heavy band of rain in Illinois has weakened as it lifts northward. You will still get some brief downpours and maybe hear a few rumbles of thunder. | Brian Gotter

Official landfall at noon, and Melissa has weakened from 185mph to 165mph. Thais scary to think it weakes and remains a Cat5. It is about 20 miles SW of Montego Bay and moving NNE at 8mph. That is the fastest this storm has moved. That is welcome to get this monster off the island. I have never seen a more perfect looking (round) storm make landfall. They usually start to look ragged as part of the storm weakens over land. Not the case here when hitting a small island. #jamaica #melissa | Brian

Clouds are moving in as expected, and there is rain on the radar, but it is moving NE and will miss tailgaters. However, expect rain walking back to your car after the game. #milwaukee #rain | Brian Gotter

A few pop up storms near Tomah and Neillsville. These are not severe! But this is verifying everything so far. All the action is to our west in the bullseye and will intensify as the afternoon and evening progress. #heygotter #Wisconsin #thunderstorms | Brian Gotter

Yesterday I stopped by one of my favorite places to see the waves on Lake Michigan. It’s County Rd D off I-43 at the Belgium exit. The road literally comes to an end at the lake. I love it. Just a stop sign. Very trusting. Makes me laugh every time #heygotter #lakemichigan #endoftheroad #waves | Brian Gotter

The intense band of lake effect snow has drifted to the SW and snow is falling at the lakefront from Racine to Waukegan. Travel overnight in this area is not advised with very heavy snow and gusty wind. The morning drive will be very slow for a small area. Be safe. | Brian Gotter

It’s a semi blizzard warning. That doesn’t mean it’s a lesser “semi” blizzard, but a semi truck snow storm. At least I wasn’t being hit by huge flying snow chunks when I was behind the truck. | Brian Gotter

Austin wanted to sit behind the Clippers bench Thursday night because Marjon Beauchamp was back in town for the first time since he was traded a few weeks ago. Not because of Leonard, Harden or Zubac, but because of a young man that never got much playing time here, but had many fans. Austin admires his story from being homeless to making the NBA. He is a great young man and Austin and his friends were bummed when he was traded. Marjon immediately saw us when he came out of the locker room and s
