Hi & welcome to all my new friends! I’m Stacy — a mom of five and the self taught baker behind @the_pie_bar. I run a small homestead bakery where everything is made from scratch, often with ingredients we grow ourselves or sourced locally. I share the real, messy, beautiful side of building a small business in the country and raising a big family. Welcome 🤍. I’m so glad you’re here — pull up a chair, grab a croissant and stay awhile! | The Pie Bar

AI can write poetry, paint portraits, and probably fake my voice someday… But it can’t griddle a golden-crusted English muffin that smells like heaven. This is Actual Intelligence, powered by butter and dough. Oh, and yes, those crumbs on my shirt are also real! | The Pie Bar

Some days I stop and remind myself who I’m really trying to impress. It isn’t algorithms, numbers, or even strangers on the internet. It’s my younger self who never imagined this life. And it’s my grandfather. He raised five children, just like I am. He had only a Grade 3 education, but a work ethic and determination that couldn’t be taught in any classroom. Over his lifetime, he built and ran multiple successful businesses, not because it was easy, but because his family depended on him, and he

I am closing out this year with an incredibly full and grateful heart ♥️ Grateful for early mornings filled with dough and late nights filled with family. For ovens that stayed busy, hands that helped, and a community that showed up again and again. This year was full of baking, travel, growth, and learning, but most of all, it was full of people. My family, my customers, my collaborators, and everyone who supported this little bakery dream in ways big and small. Thank you for choosing my baking

My path wasn’t the fastest or the obvious one. I took the long slow rise, choosing curiosity and heart over what was expected of me. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. It led me exactly where I’m meant to be. I am thankful I followed my heart! | The Pie Bar

Ever wondered why I opened a small batch bakery? It’s about more than just baking for me! It’s about flexibility. I can be there for my family when they need me, and still follow my passion. I get to experiment and perfect my creations during the trial and error process that ultimately satisfies my science brain. Baking fills my creative void. Every batch allows me to be as creative as I wish that day. I love the solitude, those peaceful early hours where it’s just me and my craft. But it’s also

There’s a big difference between existing and living. Too many people wake up dreading the day ahead, counting down hours, waiting for the weekend, and dreaming of a life that feels just out of reach. But what if you decided that life isn’t something you endure… it’s something you create? When you chase what lights you up, even in the smallest ways, everything changes. The late nights feel lighter. The early mornings feel worth it. You stop needing motivation because passion becomes your fuel. S
